Just A Little of What is Happening Here on the Farm!

Hello sweet ladies, my time has been consumed with trying to wrap up the wedding "stuff" and packing everything away. It has taken more time than I thought. Almost everything has been stored and put away, still a little more to do at the shed...then I will have so much more time!

Tressa and I are enjoying the flowers that were used in the wedding! Shared this pic on my fb.....thought I would share with you!  We saved a lot of money on the flowers by buying them at Dillon's supermarket. I had given the girls money to buy them and when they got there they had marked so many down to $2.99 a bouquet. They were beautiful flowers.....nothing wrong with them. I will share more after we get the pic's from the wedding.

A few days after the wedding we had our soybeans cut by a custom cutter....just in time...first crop for us since we inherited our farm this year!!!!!! God blessed us and we are so so grateful to His provisions.

This is a precious picture for her Daddy and myself. Taylor and Tyler saved there first kiss for their wedding day. Our photographer Tonya Ferguson...captured the pic so perfect. The SONshine came out right as the wedding began. After snowing for 6 hours all morning and part of the afternoon...... then it rained up to a hour and a half before the wedding started.....what an emotional day it was!  You can find Tonya at her blog  4 little Fergusons . She's a blessing to our family!!!!!! Just had to share the pic.

Life is different without our Tay...we are doing the best that we can. After having her in our life for 19 years straight...... it has been an adjustment to say the least. I am leaning on the Lord and He is helping me to keep my eyes on Himself. I find myself praying for their protection.....a lot! I am thankful that they have been able to come back home to the farm last weekend and will be back for this one also. They get to take a few more pic's since it was such a miserable morning on the wedding. We enjoy having them both now and are so thankful for a son in love who is caring so much for our girl. Now we have him to love on also! They are sweet to watch!

Tay brought her gown back last weekend......I got to play with it a bit taking some pic's as the sun was shining so beautifully that day!!!!!!! Tressa painted "bride" on the hanger.....we love how it looked!

The detail on Tay's dress is beautiful! Covered button's all the way down the back clear to the end of her gown. Every 5 buttons there was a cluster of little 4 pearls and a jewel in the center to make a flower. We bought the dress at The White Dress......their fb here sweetest ladies you ever want to meet. Kristi the owner and Kristine her assistant were absolutely adorable! They made our time a memory we will never forget! I will write all about them.......when I do the whole story on the wedding!!!!

So good to come and say hello to you all...don't think I don't think about you all every day.....I do pray for you......it will quiet down here on the farm soon and I will have more time to write. I do post on my fb everyday just to see how everyone is doing. I will be on vacation the end of November for 10 days.......ekkkk! Will love it! Then we go back for a week of work and off again for a month....we will be coming to your house for dinner......just kidding!!!!!!

Hugs and God bless you.....I do miss journalling and being in touch with you all!!!!!!!

A Little Journaling About the Wedding!

Hello sweet ladies,

I have missed so getting to journal. To say that life has been a roller coaster ride is an understatement. I have hit the wall a thousand times this last month it feels like. I wanted to just say hello.....and tell you that I will be posting soon about the wedding.......it was an eventful day......snow for 6 hours starting in the morning, then rain......and then a wedding! It was not as we had planned, but it was beautiful!!!!! All our sweet friends showed up even though it was very cold outside. As the wedding started the sun peaked through the clouds........then as I was seated and Taylor's Daddy started her down the isle the sun came through the sky and we had blue sky. It was an amazing entry as we knew then the Lord was just about to show His Glory!!!!!!! The Sanctuary lit up a golden color!!!!!!!  It was a precious gift. He is so into detail!!!!!!!

Mr. and Mrs. Tyler Deutscher.

The SONshine came out just in time for the wedding.......God is so so amazing!!!!!! We didn't get to decorate the Sanctuary as we wanted, but it was okay......the Bride and Groom were our decorations! Precious gifts these are going to be as the Lord uses them for His purpose!!!!

God bless your SONday!

Will look so pretty.......this week and next we will work on the reception. That will be fun also!

My sister is coming to the wedding!!!!!!!! She is on a new med and it has been helping her so much......she walked up 16 steps the other day......she couldn't do that at all sometime back! Thankful to the Lord for all His help in her life.....thank you to all who have prayed for her.

Today is SONday and it is time to get myself ready to go to church........trust your day is a sweet one!

Also......talked with the sisters last night of Marian......she is going to be with our Heavenly Father soon......her body is shutting down.......I am so grateful for the time we have had with each other.....sharing, crying and hearing her wishes she is leaving with her family members and myself. What a gift that we have had together......we will be united again someday and live with each other forever in heaven. We both have that promise from the Lord.......she will be totally healed when she goes HOME! Praise be to our Jesus who came to wipe away sin for those who put their trust in Him alone for their salvation!

Love you,

Linda

Hope You Have A Sweet Day Today!

Hello sweet ladies,

Just a little note to remind you of the Gooseberry Patch and Prairie Flower Farm Party going on here!

You can go here to sign up, if you haven't already! It is so full of beautiful recipes for your fall cooking!

My girls have been laying so good lately.......the weather is cooling down a bit so they are blessing me with beautiful eggs. One of my favorite things every day is going to the Girls Hen House and gathering eggs! I sell my eggs at the college to some of the ladies......gives me a little "egg money".

Well.......I am off to work at the college. I have been excited for some of the students who are taking a stand for Christ! It has been precious as I work at my station how many come up to either tell me what is going on or asking if I need prayer!

Two weeks until the wedding.......can't believe it is almost here and my sweet girl will be setting up her own home with her precious husband! I have been praying so!!!!!! My emotions and hers are the end of our mixed. She and I are so excited though for all the fun we will have on that day and memories that we will all be making as two families! Thank you so for praying!

Tonight I will go down and see my sweet friend Marian. Yesterday she took a turn for the worse.......life sure can be hard!

You are all in my prayers.......trust your day will be a sweet one!

Hugs and God bless your day,

Linda
