The Girls and Bad Weather!!!!

On Sonday I went to the coop to gather the eggs in the afternoon. I had three girls sitting in my 3 space nester. I thought they looked adorable......had to share! I have been checking the nests regularly so the girls won't eat their eggs. They are being really good for me. I've been getting about 14-15 eggs a day even in all of this cold weather. The "little" girls (that live down in the milk barn) that my friend Gail and I got in July...... are now laying. I am getting about 2 to 3 a day from them. Still giving warm water........ I think it helps. I am still waiting on the Cuckoo Marans to start laying their really brown eggs....... can't wait!

Hello Sweet Ladies,

Your comments and emails have been such a blessing! They made me have tears.......you are all so thoughtful to my family. I am going to print the comments off so our kids can read them. I think it will be a great encouragement. I can't hardly believe that we will have a new grandson! Your prayers are so appreciated. Thank you so much! May the Lord bless your lives. I will keep you posted as news arises!

On Tuesday we are going to be getting horrible weather. Snow, ice and wind.......not a good combination. The high will be 8 degrees and the wind chill will be minus 15........that is cold. We are prepared the best that we can be. Hope the electricity doesn't go out. A lot of other states to the east of us are going to be hit hard also. Our family will be praying for safety for all involved. Huge storms colliding and very high winds. For Kansas that means lots of drifting if we accumulate a lot of snow! Children love that because you can build the neatest snow forts.

Well I am off to bed..... couldn't sleep last night very well. Hope I can get some much needed rest tonight. Hugs to you sweet friends and thank you so much for being you!

Welcome New Followers.........you have been noticed........by me!

God Bless you!!!!!!!!

Bringing a new smile....HOME!

Dear sweet ladies,

I have been waiting since last Tuesday night to tell you this. We have some very exciting news! We received an email from our kids last Tuesday night and it said,

"We heard back that he (Vitaliy) is available for adoption!"

They asked that we wait until Friday to let the news out. Now do you remember that they said it was going to take up to 7 weeks to find out.....if he was available or not? Well..it took a whole 1 1/2 weeks....Blessed OUR hearts! Our family is so excited we can hardly stand it!!!!!!! We know without a shadow of a doubt that it was Prairie Flower Ladies hitting the floor on our families behalf and our GOD hearing you. We want to thank you alllllll so much for your kindness and prayers. You are so precious to me... and I don't know how to express that in just words. I wish I could talk to each one of you face to face and tell you. I wouldn't be able to hold back a hug for each one of you thats for sure!!!!!!

Sooooooo back to what happened.....we had to get a hold of the adoption agency to see what was okay and not okay to put on my blog.....because so many of you have email on what can you do. I found out in the morning on my break that the lady had gotten ahold of Tonya.......she gave us instructions as to what to do! We are working on that right now and hope we will have something up soon. At around noon on Friday I was praying and thinking and asking the Lord.........what can I do to "sell something sweet" and do a fundraising idea to get to "BRING Vitaliy HOME"! "No pressure on anyone and I am not kidding on that!!!!!!!!!!" My brain was going a hundred miles an hour and ideas were going off in my head. Then it was time to get off work.......my most favorite part of the day...........to be able to take of my silly hat off........."throw" it in the drawer (hoping that someone will take it) just kidding.......and then I RUN out the door........so I can come HOME.......and be with my family! Anyway.......I got in our little farm truck and thought I would look at my email........ as Phil loaded all the buckets of scraps. I saw that one of "my dear blogger friends" had written. I read..........I cried............my heart was filled to the max. I called my daughter in love Tonya.........read it to her..........all she could say was........oh my.......Praise the Lord! What my sweet friend wrote was she and her family had been praying, just like all of you have been doing. She is crafty and had she said that she had an idea (which I still don't know what it is) smile.........waiting. She said that there was a blog that she wanted me to look at. I did. It was a family that had an idea and they had raised enough money to bring their little girl Home! We have never talked on the phone and so I wrote back to see if we could talk. YES she said..........we did........we had the most delightful time. Can you believe that just an hour before I was talking and thinking with the Lord and here she writes me an hour later. Amazing is all I can say! We started out with prayer.........two ladies ..........coming before their Father.......we were being knit together..........a three cord.

The scripture I am talking about is:

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up (I, Linda want to be a "people picker upper" that is why I blog)! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

I read this: "There are very few endeavors in life that are performed more efficiently with one hand than with two. In nearly everything we do, we must ask at one time or another, Could you give me a hand with this or.......could you hear my idea? When we work together we receive encouragement, ideas, and an extra hand.

So as we talked...... she encouraged my heart it was a very precious time. All weekend I have been praying and asking for some ideas.........this morning I was laying in bed........honey asleep beside me........I was again thinking and talking with Jesus..........and "this idea" came flying in my head..........it was adorable (well at least to me)...........I was so excited........."honey not sleeping anymore".........I said........... "I have an idea"! Well really the Lord gave me the idea.......can't take credit! He (honey) was happy. Smile! I am going to make up a sample. Also waiting for my "blogger friend" to send me her idea............she is sending it in the mail......wish I could camp down at the mailbox!!!!!

At the end of my friends email she had a prayer.......I want to put it up for you. It will bless you........as it blessed me. So many of you have written the same kind of things to me. I have been also able to pray with you via email...when you have let me in on your story............it is amazing........ our........God can use even the internet for His purposes. My heart is full.........my Lord has heard our families cry........HE has not left us wondering out there, we are going to trust Him through this whole thing. He so wants to be in the details of our lives........if we will let HIM! We will! We are so excited for the RIDE. Please pray for our protection as Josh and Tonya now start filing papers and that it would go through without a hitch......there are some sad stories. The enemy of our souls does not want Vitaliy in our family.....the Bible says to not be ignorant of the schemes of the devil............Jesus RULES OVER EVERYTHING!

Here is her prayer:
" Lord thank you so much for your Loving care and provisions..You know and are above ALL things...though are minds are small and finite you still love us in spite of ourselves and your Mercy and Grace are new every morning..
Lord I thank you so much for bringing Linda and I together and creating a friendship between us that even though we have yet to meet in person you have knitted our hearts together in Spirit..what a blessing and special gift that is to me as it you know it is much needed in my life..to have some one who is of a like mind and heart that desires to be ever pleasing to you...even through are imperfections...
Lord I ask that if it be Your will that You would guide and lead us to an idea for a fundraising project that might bring Vitaly home to Linda's whole family...I do pray that You continue to Minister and Protect his spirit as he is away from them at this moment...may the words that were spoken in Your name ring in his little heart and mind daily..may they be a comfort to him when he lays his head down at night... and an encouragement to him when he might get discouraged or feel hopeless...Father may your Perfect will be done without hindrance or delay...
And Lord though I know that Linda and I may never meet on this side of Eternity...I do know that ALL things are Possible in and through you...So I ask that we would have a chance to one day meet...because I know it would be SWEET...
Thank you Lord for hearing are prayers even when be typed out in an email..We Love You and Praise Your Holy Name...
In Jesus Name
Amen"

God Bless you sweet ladies......and most of all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.....
for loving my family like you do. I am so humbled and grateful that each
of you precious ladies are in my life!

SATURDAY........ON THE FARM!

Went to the coop this morning..........this picture always greats me. It is one of my favorites! We have a picture of a precious sister in love of her holding a chicken. I will have to find it in Grandma Jo's pic's. Whenever I see this one it reminds me of Linda (not me my sisser in love).

Good Morning.........sweet ladies!

It is Saturday....did you notice? I slept in just a little bit this Saturday morning........the sun was peeking through our bedroom window.......beautimous is all I can say! It is going to be a warmer day today than usual. Yesterday it was in the 70's.....our bones thawed out a bit. It felt so good leaving work.........on a Friday no less........to a beautiful sunny day........and very warm. When I got Home I went out to go check on one of my sick roosters. Talk about chicken problems on Prairie Flower Farm. I sure have had them this year. I read up on when your "chicken act drunk". He and another rooster (he died) were staggering all over. Some said they needed
electrolytes.......sooooooo.......I am trying it. I have removed him from the coop and he is snug as a bug in a rabbit hutch that was given to us. I gave him some more gatoraid. It is working great. I hope he will make it. The warm weather yesterday and today might help him. If you have any other ideas let me know please. I am learning!

I moved another nester in the coop for the girls. I counted the nest boxes this morning and I have 16 nests for them, thought I had less.......so I am so excited. I hope that might help them. So far the girls have not eaten any more eggs. I think the gathering them faster has helped a ton. Thank you to all the sweet ladies that left me helpful comments the other day. I did everything you told me to do............ except I don't think I will have to put in the golf balls!

Thought you might like to hear my roosters. Love it.........music to my ears!

If you have had a hard week I just want to encourage you to press on. Issues always seem to come up in our lives don't they. Some are very scary and they come like a rushing wind to knock us off our feet. It is so important to keep the Lord before us......stay in the Word.........trusting that He will bring us through. The enemy always wants destruction, that is what he does best. I know a lot of you precious ladies and families have huge situations in your lives. I pray for you that our Almighty God will bring you through. Life is hard here on earth........but He says He won't leave us. I am so grateful to know that. Our family does see that the hard times can be used for our good............ no matter how hard it is. It gives us opportunities to continue to love and forgive and not do harm. We don't want to find ourselves at the end of the day that we have not pleased the Lord........ in the best way we can. I have a precious prayer again from Praying God's Word by Beth Moore. I hope this will bring you comfort..........it has us.

You, O Lord, love me (us) with an everlasting love; You have drawn me (us) with loving-kindness. You will build me (us) up again and I (we) will be rebuilt. I (we) will take up my (our) tambourine and go out to dance with the joyful! Jer. 31:3-4.

Ladies if you are having tough times..............don't give up. Just keep doing good and try your best to do acts of kindness. We do have a Father that is watching ......... it does make a difference how we live! We can trust HIM!

Ladies this is the most most beautiful breakfast bar we have had in a long time. It is now our favorite. I found it on the internet and it is so so so nummy. It is a must try. I just sent it to my farm girl friend Gail and she is going to make it up. She is going to love it. You will also. I wish I could send you each a piece in the mail.

Thank you so much for praying for our Vitaliy...........we sent out our package........can't wait for him to open it! Our Tonya is such a precious Momma to him!

Love you and hope you have a wonderful day! We have a friend Rachel, who is coming today to the farm and she has only been to one farm before. She will get to go to the coop and gather eggs. Well she is now in our Home and she said "nooooooo I am not going to get eggs". So she is going to miss out....city girl!!!! heehee She said she will ride a horse instead. Now I will get pic's of that. We will try to make a farm girl out of her! Smile. Hi Rach! She reads my blog.

Valentine Ideas

Hello sweet ladies,

I have been seeing some really sweet ideas on different blogs for Valentine gifts. So many of you have downloaded the Tea cozy that is located along my side bar. I was asked by The Old School House Magazine this last fall, if they could feature the tea cozy. I did up a picture....... but they ended up not using the pic. For the picture I did one in wool and one in cotton fabric. I thought I would show you what it looked like in cotton fabric. If you have not downloaded the tea cozy before............ it is real easy to do! This pattern makes up really fast. It can be slipped into a card and envelope to send to that special friend or slip into a cellophane bag with ribbon and tag tied on to the top. Easy gift!

Another simple idea is making Almond Bark Strawberries. You will need almond bark, pink food coloring and big strawberries. Melt bark in a microwave (be very careful to not over cook) or in a double-broiler. After it is melted........ add the food coloring. Put bark in a ziplock quart freezer bag or a squirt bottle Cut a small hole at one corner of the bag and decorate each strawberry. After the bark has hardened......... place on a decorative plate. Slip in to a cellophane bag. Tie with a ribbon and add a tag. Simple! We made these for a special occasion and they were a hit!

If you have a Valentine idea on your blog.........please let us know................and we will come and see.

Hugs from our farm..........to your HOME!

Getting A Much Needed Walk Around the Farm and A New Recipe

Hello Sweet ladies..............

We are getting a little itchy for spring to come.......I love the snow and winter.....but I have been looking at my seed packets and getting idea of what I want to plant. I have seen brown and dead grass and trees and now I want to see living plants.......anyone else out there feeling the same. I will wait patiently........just telling you how I feel. Today after work Tay wanted to go to have me take some pic's of her and Kansas. Got out there and took a few of the barn. Love old barn wood! Then I started to take some pic's as of Tay as she was sitting on her stump of wood in the middle of the corral and Kansas walking up to her and loving on her. It is the sweetest sight. Went to take the picture and it froze. I couldn't get it to do anything. I will try again tomorrow. Pretty soon she was absorbed by Kansas and Kiowa. They were nibbling around her hair and the back of the neck. Horses are really neat animals.

These are really old kind of windows.
They are so interesting.

The girls have food to eat.........not sure why
they are eating wood!

I will never want to replace this door..............it has so much character.
Even the hinges are beautiful to me. Love to hear the birds that are singing in the trees above the barn.

Want to share a neat recipe with you ladies........... you will like it! Well, if you like oranges and chocolate

Today at work I wanted to try something different. I called them Choco Orange Cupcakes. Sooooooo easy and delicious! Have you ever had those candies that are kind of shaped like a long tube. They have orange jelly on the inside and dipped into dark chocolate? It is one of my favorites candies. The only time I ever see them though is at nice candy stores. Which is not to often.....but when I do........I have to buy a few. Num! I remember eating them with my Momma when I was young.....nice memory. Soooooo I decided today that I was going to try to get the same kind of taste........and I did. It was so easy and very good. The kids went through them so fast. That always tells me it is a good thing!

I used a basic Butter Cream Frosting but I like adding a little whipping
cream and also add some fresh squeezed orange juice.

Fresh Orange Butter Cream Frosting

3- 3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
1-2 T. whipping cream

Fresh Choco Orange Cupcakes

2 cup white sugar
1 cup softened butter
4 eggs
1 T. vanilla extract
3 cups unbleached flour
1 T. and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup cream
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
2 teaspoons of orange zest

Preheat 350 degrees. Line 24 paper liners in muffin pans.
In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in eggs, one
at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder, add to the
creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in cream and orange juice until batter is smooth.
Pour batter into 24 paper liners. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven. Bake for
20-25 minutes. Cupcakes are done when it springs back to the touch. Frost cooled cupcakes
and then drizzle chocolate over the top of frosted cupcake.

Choco Drizzle
1 cup chocolate chips
3 tablespoons oil
1/4 cup cream
Cook over med heat until melted. Drizzle over cupcakes!

It is really sooooooo good!

Farmer Honey put some oyster shells in the coop for me and the chickens are eating them up! Thank you so much ladies for all the good advice. I still have to find some old golf balls. We are checking the eggs more often......... hope it all helps. I will let you know.

When I went to check to see if they were eating the shells I saw my two girls sitting so plumpy................had to take a pic.

We are getting a gallon bag ready for our Vitaliy with Josh and Tonya. I am going to make up a picture book for him of all the farm animals here on the farm. He took two stuffed dogs back with him......... each was named after our dog and Josh's dog. I am just so excited that our family will make contact. He will know that we love him! Thank you again for praying for him. You are sooooooo precious to me and V. Please pray that the finding out on whether or not he is adoptable will go smooth and maybe the Lord could hurry it up?

Welcome New Follower's...........you have been noticed.......by me!

Chickens Eating Their Eggs!

Hello Sweet Ladies,

Okay...........you know how I told you that the girls are laying lots of eggs? Well guess what......now they are eating them. I am going to have to do some research on what to do. I have heard that you can put hard wood eggs in their nest boxes and when they peck the egg........ it gets their beak. Does anyone else out there know what to do? I just love her feathers. I am so bad at the different names of chickens. So many of them are crosses on my farm. But I think she is beautiful! They are so healthy this year. Lots of food scraps from the college. We are all blessed working at the college. We eat and our animals eat.....blessing! Thank you Jesus..........you think of everything!

You ladies are cracking me up on ideas for my hat. Today I wore it with my bangs a little fluffy. It was not that bad. I felt a lot better then looking like I didn't have any hair at all. Thank you though.........I think my boss would not let me have flowers on it. I should do it anyway..........just to be funny. Hey......maybe I will. I will let you know if I do.

I had planned on a little sewing tonight..........but I heard our middle son's truck coming up the lane. Doesn't matter how old our kids are....I love it............Momma's doesn't it make your heart just skip a beat when you know your kids are coming HOME? Anyway he was going up to the tree row to cut some hedge for their families fireplace. They were out of wood and that is how they heat their Home. We decided to go and help fill the back of the truck with wood......with five of us working it went real fast. The sun was going to be going down soon........... the sight was so beautiful. I forgot to take the camera. It was such a special time working along side our Josh. Lots of memory making going on.....maybe one day down the road he will remember that we loved him this night.......by helping!

This morning I took my Beth Moore Praying God's Word Book with me so I could pray on the way to work. I love this book........it helps keep my mind in a right perspective when I am having a difficult time. I read and prayed. This is one of the prayers I prayed.

"Lord, I don't want to waver through unbelief regarding Your promises, but I desire to be strengthened in my faith and give glory to You, God, being fully persuaded that You have power to do what You promise. You credit this kind of faith to Your children as righteousness!" Romans 4:20-22.

We are waiting to see if Vitaliy is even adoptable. Could be 7 weeks. Long wait.........trusting like I have never trusted before..........good place to be!

Just wanted to say hello.........not much news! Thank you also for the comments you left me today!

Also "welcome new followers".............I will be coming and visiting you........soon!

Hugs from my farm to your HOME!

I Was Blessed!

Hello Sweet Ladies,

I am putting this post up on Sunday evening. We had such a quiet and restful day. When we were leaving for church we were getting flakes of snow. The wind was blowing and it looked beautiful watching the snow flying. After we got out of church it had quit and then the sun came out and melted all the snow. It was one of those "every kind of weather days".

Later in the afternoon we had our friend Alicia out for supper. We fixed her roast, mashed potaotes, nummy gravy........and our canned green beans. Peanut Butter Pie for dessert also. When she came in she had a "big" brown grocery bag" filled with red berries of every kind! Ladies "look no more"...... for a red wreath. I will be able to make up a new one using the frame of my old one. I just need to wash up the green leaves..........and make a new bow. I will have it almost looking like it looked before. Talk about a sweet blessing!!!!!!!! It really was a God thing for me. A simple act of kindness...........but it did my heart so much good! I am asking the Lord who I can love on now!!!!!!!

I am so excited...........my Tonya got the info. for Vitaliy's address. I am going to be getting a letter and some stickers sent off. That will help me feel like I am in touch at least. I keep seeing pictures of Vitaliy............miss that little boy!

Hope you all have a wonderful Monday. I am going to be sporting my silly old hat a little different. It was kind of funny this morning. I was fixing my hair and thought I would try something different with the "HAT". It is still so ugly.......but I was a little bit happier with the way it looked. No....... I will not show you in case you were going to ask. You would laugh! Promise!

God Bless you!

Hugs from my farm to your HOME!

Resting In The Lord.

You are welcome to use this photo on your blog or fb if you like.

Tressa took this picture on our farm. Beauty in the real!

Father.........take this day please.........give comfort where it is needed........please be with our Vitaliy.......keep him safe............prepare a way........for him to come

and be a part of our family....for .....forever..........Thank you. Help the women here in his life to be steadfast.........to not give up. Give us the FAITH that is needed........every thing comes from YOU. YOU are HOLY.........WONDERFUL.....and WORTHY of all our PRAISE!

In the PRECIOUS NAME of JESUS. AMEN

He will not let your foot slip—

he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel

will neither slumber nor sleep.

5The LORD watches over you—

the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

6the sun will not harm you by day,

nor the moon by night.

7The LORD will keep you from all harm—

he will watch over your life;

8the LORD will watch over your coming and going

both now and forevermore.

Psalm 121 3-8

Finding comfort in this verse today.........hope it will minister to your soul as well. Especially......... if you are going through a trying time. Just know that I am lifting you up in prayer. You are precious to HIM and to me!

Have a restful day..............I will.

Hugs from my farm to your HOME!

Linda

P.S. Pray that Vitaliy will know the love that we have for him. I can't imagine being an orphan. After Phil's Daddy died..........that is how he felt........so did I......it felt horrible!

My Chickens.......and some Really Good Bread Recipes!

I didn't say I would share...........but the chickens thought different!

Good morning.........from my FARM......... sweet ladies,

You see that really beautiful wreath that is in my header? Well I have been having it hang on the milk barn during the snow.......thought it looked so pretty. Well I found my wreath on the ground in the milk barn buried in straw and alllllll the berries eaten off it. Those naughty chickens. It must have blown off the door on to the floor and wasn't noticed by my Farmer Honey...........awww....... so sad for me. It was one of my favorite wreaths. I looked for another on the internet.......couldn't find one. Not always sure how to find things. If you see something like this on your "goings abouts" please let me know. If you know of a place on the internet or in a store........please send me the info. I would be so happy! Thank you!

Mr. Cuckoo Maran

and Mrs. Cuckoo Maran said,
"they don't know anything about the wreath!"

I hope it doesn't make the chickens sick........just plain naughty is all I can say!

Picture from Wikipedia

My Cuckoo Marans have not laid any eggs yet.......but when they do.....
this is what they will look like...........I can't wait!!!!!!!!!

Last week in the kitchen we baked Banana Streusel Bread.....it is now a favorite!! It is so moist and a good way to use up those old brown bananas you have on your counter. For the topping we did it a little different then the recipe. We didn't have the Wether's Original Chewy Caramels available so we used a made up a carmel recipe that was found in an old Mary Jane Farm Magazine. They are the nummiest. Tressa makes them for CHRISTmas. We didn't bring the caramel to a full 245 degrees. Go about 200 degrees and drizzle over the top of the Banana Streusel Bread. You can bring the remainder carmel to 245 degrees and make the remainder into caramels. It really is a pretty bread! Give as a valentine gift........they will feel loved. Slip bread into a cellophane bag.....tie up with a ribbon.......and a valentine tag...........fast simple gift from you kitchen! I bet....... you could use the fully cooked caramels for the inside of the bread. We will have to try it.

Holiday Caramels
1 cup cream
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1. Line an 8" square pan with 2 sheets of crisscrossed parchment paper.
2. Combine cream, sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a heavy 3 to 4 quart saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat and cook , stirring, until the mixture reaches 245 degrees on a candy thermometer.
3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and nuts (optional). Immediately pour into prepared pan, and allow to cool at least 2 hours or overnight.
4. After carmel has cooled, remove from pan and cut into 4 equal lengths; then cut each length into 10 equal pieces.
5. Wrap each piece in a 4" square of waxed paper, or store between pieces of waxed paper in an airtight container. (from and old Mary Jane Farm magazine)

This is a very very moist bread. You can find the recipe here for the Lemon Blueberry Bread! The first piece........ when it is still is a little warm.............will be the best piece. I put it in a round bundt kind of pan. It had a flat bottom.......kind of like an angel food pan. It looked so pretty on a pretty plate. Decorate with slices of lemon and fresh blueberries.

This morning I have been listening to Daily Audio Bible ............at the end there are prayer requests........I was so overwhelmed with the hurt that sin brings into the lives of believers families. Whether you want the pain or not........ if others choose to sin and you are close to them........you have to go through the tough times "of their decisions". I am not saying you need to sin yourself(!)......I am just saying you my hurt......... because of it. There seems to be a lot of suffering out there ladies........probably in your life and I know in mine as well. Keep lifting one another up in prayer.....please. It is the key to get through the tough times. I am praying for you.......even though you may never leave me a comment.........I know by the numbers on my meter reader that ladies are reading. God knows you.........by name..........and I am asking HIM to meet your needs. It matters to Him when we come and talk to Him......even when we don't feel like it............it truly matters. He is a precious Father!

Please keep praying for God's will for Vitaliy's life...........I miss him.........glad I can talk to the Lord about him.........I am........ consciously thanking God for the sweet times and the memories we had..........as some of you have encouraged me. Sometimes I can get bogged down on the "what if's" for the future and I forget to be thankful for what He has done for me in my past. I am working on it as I grow in this time of loss! It is a part of my walk with Jesus.......dying to self.....and learning to trust my God...... in a whole new way........not always a pain free process.......... but so necessary. Thank you for your prayers! I truly want to be there for you also. If you want me to pray......I will........... just email me!

P.S. When I was working on this post this morning...... just about ready to put it up.....I received a phone call from a very precious blogger friend. She has walked heartache that I have never known............she called.........and she blessed me.......in my sadness this morning. A gift wrapped in a beautiful bow...........sent straight from my heavenly Father! Reminds me of how Real He IS! It really was a precious thing ....it helped my day and gave it some JOY!!
